Hebei Hallof Great Hall of the People was ablaze with lights in the evening of Jun 25. The signing ceremony for major projects was grandly held here after the talks between the heads of China and Russia. At the ceremony, the agreements of a few major governmental and commercial projects, including the strategic cooperation agreement between CNBM and Eurocement Group, were signed in the presence of the heads of China and Russia. Song Zhiping (Chairman of CNBM) and Galchev (Chairman of Eurocement Group) signed the agreement on behalf of CNBM and Eurocement Group, respectively.

The important partnerships established between the two countries during the visit of the President of Russia will be bound to lay an important foundation for accelerating the pragmatic cooperation. The signing of the agreement symbolized that the long-term friendly cooperation between CNBM and Eurocement Group entered a new stage featuring pragmatism and high efficiency.

As the Russia’s largest and world’s fifth largest cement group, Eurocement Group owns 19 cement plants in Russia and the other countries of CIS, and outputs 50 million tons cement every year. According to the agreement, the two parties will cooperate tightly in the fields of cement, glass, new-type house, new energy and building materials industry park, and upscale their respective benefits and businesses based on continuous expansion and deepening of cooperation, to finally achieve the goals of reciprocity and win-win cooperation.

Following the ceremony, Song Zhiping attended the evening reception for the heads of the two countries, on invitation.
